CTFd allows organizations to list a Terms of Service (TOS) or Privacy Policy on their instance if they need that consent from users.

You can use this to set out guidelines that users and visitors must agree to such as:

  • Not stealing your content and violating copyright laws
  • Not spamming other users
  • Not using your site for illegal activities

If you provide text for the TOS or Privacy Policy, the text will be available on the CTFd instance at /tos (ie https://demo.ctfd.io/tos) and /privacy (ie https://demo.ctfd.io/privacy) routes respectively. If you provide links for the TOS or Privacy Policy, the /tos and /privacy routes will redirect to the provided links.

Appearance​

The TOS and/or Privacy Policy will be displayed on the user registration page.
